| Without doubt, I consider the best made dog boxes in the world to be made by Merlin Products. Their trademark is Port-A-Pet. I had long wanted one of their superb boxes and I finally decided to invest in one, as no other option, was I prepared to consider. Dave Hoenes, the boss of Merlin is a perfectionist. ALL his boxes are made to order and every one is hand made. What did I get for my money? A box of impeccable construction and like no other made anywhere else in the world. Light weight does not do Dave's boxes justice! They are made to aircraft standards and of 'ALL aluminium' construction which means loving care and attention to detail like no other manufacturer in the world can match. I am sure my new box will last near a lifetime. Dave H. could rightly feel, that!! is not good business on his part, but that is the sort of guy he is. They also make great indoor little pen/beds if you need one as they are so easy to carry about. Am I happy with my new dog box? You damn well bet I am. I love it! |
