Graham Cox
Graham is a 'renaissance man' of our Gundog world. Full of integrity, honesty and a love of what is good about what we do and a tireless worker and representitive in the Field of Gundogs. He holds many 'positions' in many of our Gundog organisations, a KC Field Trial Judge of Retrievers is among his credentials listed below.

Journalism
Since 1978 Graham has contributed numerous articles, photographic reports, front cover transparencies to a wide range of magazines and newspapers including:
The Shooting Gazette, The Shooting Times, The Field, Country Life, Sporting Gun, Insight, Dog World, Irish Hunting Shooting and Fishing, The Chase, The Kennel Gazette
Most of this work has been for The Shooting Gazette which, after starting in 1989 recently published its 150th. issue. As well as other material on occasion, each issue has carried a feature article of Graham's.

CLA Game Fair
Graham led the Gundog Commentary Team at the CLA Game Fair from Broadlands in 1984 to Stratfield Saye in 1998, from which time Graham assumed the role of CLA Gundog Adviser.

Game Conservancy
Getting It Right With Gundogs, a new edition of which was published in 1995 and which Graham wrote with Martin Deeley was originally published by The Game Conservancy in 1987 following the very successful series of Game Conservancy Dog Days which Graham organised and helped to present.

Graham was, until recently, a Trustee member of The Game Conservancy Council, having been a member of its Development Committee from 1984-1990 and its Lowland Research Committee from 1993. Graham is also a Trustee of the Habitat Research Trust which is dedicated to the wellbeing of Britain's natural heritage.

Field Trialling
Graham has been Trialling since 1978 and has, had five Trial winning Golden Retrievers. He made up a Field Trial Champion, Littlemarston Comma of Wydcombe, in the 1989-90 season.

Field Trial Judging
Graham has been on The Kennel Club's 'A' Panel for Judging Retrievers since 1988 and has Judged over 70 trials since his first Judging appointment in 1980.

Graham has Judged and conducted numerous training seminars in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Italy and Ireland and in 1998 he Judged the Danish Retriever Championship.

The Kennel Club
Graham is a member of the Kennel Club and he sits on it's Field Trials Sub-Committee, having been elected from the Field Trials Liaison Council where he is a representative for The Bristol and West Working Gundog Society, The United Retriever Club and the Arun and Downland Gundog Society.

Gundog Societies
Over a period of almost 30 years Graham has been successively, Yearbook founder and Editor, Chairman and President of The Bristol and West Working Gundog Society which has wellover 700 members and which runs Open Stakes for Retrievers and Spaniels and also Trials for HPRs and now Cockers. In addition he was Chairman for six years of the Border Counties and Cotswold Area of The United Retriever Club and he presently serves on the Committee of the International Gundog League which is responsible for the IGL The Retriever Championship.

Countryside Organisations
In addition to being on the Game Conservancy's Education and Advisory Committee, he sat on the Countryside Committee, now the Policy Committee, of The Countryside Alliance and the Biodiversity Working Group of the Standing Conference on Countryside Sports of which he is now, an Independent Member.
