Keith was with Gundogs for nearly 50 years. He trained his first English Springer in 1955 and won his first Open qualifying Springer Stake in 1957. He made up 20 Field Trial Champions, 15 Springers and 5 Cockers. He won the Springer Championship twice, the Cocker Championship 3 times and the McNeil Professional Spaniel Handlers' Award 12 times. He also qualified dogs for the Retriever Championship and Pointer and Setter Championship Stakes. He judged so many Field Trials both here in the UK aswell as abroad, I am sure he lost count.
