The pups Pedigree here

Hales Smut and Lady.
A most remarkable likeness after nearly 45 years since Smut was whelped at the famous Gwibernant Kennels in north Wales, but hardly surprising considering Smut runs deep through her pedigree via NatFTCh Cortman Lane and FTCh Badgercourt Druid on all her bitch lines, besides other interesting breedings from Smut. A mating via a son of Lane and daughter of Druid is about the closest I have ever found anywhere, in this bitches pedigree. Blue Springer blood is all through this bitch.

A few weeks to go before pups are due.
A super brood bitch and my favourite Springer at Nortonhill.
She has a KC registered DNA Profile, so you really know what you are getting from this bitch.
A Mother's eye. A superb mother with a day old pup.
L/W pups sired by 2001 UK NatFTCh Steadroc Sker and Sire of the 2004 UK National Springer Championship winner.

Mayhem on a sunny outside day! Her litter of nine, four weeks old on Saturday 18th June 2005.
This whole litter and parents were DNA profiled for the KC database.
A past litter from 2002 from this super bitch.
The Sire was FTCh Webbswood Stoker.

Concerns?
Concerns over temperament are often asked by prospective new dog owners and how the dog will be with children. Pure bred Working Springers are surely amongst the most stable in temperament of all dog breeds owing to their extensive and selective breeding over many hundreds of years.
They make great play mates for kids in other words with boundless energy and fun and just cannot get enough of chasing and retrieving a ball!
All pups and dogs of all breeds need early training, so take good notice of that. They 'all'! have to learn their 'place' in their new household, so as to fit in and find their place in the pack.

Nortonhill Timbre
was sold in late 2005 as a young trained working dog on his first working season but is equally at home and the best of friends with his owners friends GDaughter.
Sire is Nortonhill Midsomer Tiger Laird and out of my bitch Lady.

Nortonhill Skerge
has made a new young wee friend. A young dog on his first working season from Jan 1st 2007 with his new owners and is also a hit it seems with their wee grandson.
Sire is UK NatFTCh Steadroc Sker from out of my Lady again.

All dogs, bitches and pups are fed on a high quality diet of raw meat and bones(beef, lamb, tripe, and blood rich offle), vitamins, minerals, fish oils and calcium to ensure as good a healthy and strong growth of body, bones, teeth, joints and coat, as possible: mixed with Skinner's Muesli. A great feed on its own but also great to feed with raw meat when needed.
