Bryantscroft Gundogs was started in the late 1970s when Rory Major got his first Springer spaniel followed by a German wirehaired pointer and a Flatcoat retriever. Since then we have made up the only Field Trial Champion German wirehaired pointer Velia von Andesheim. A Field Trial winning Flatcoat, a field trial award winning Springer, four Field Trial winning GWP, two Field Trial winning Brittanys, a Field Trial award winning GSP [for a client] and a Field Trial award winning Spinone.
FTW BADGER OF BRYANTSCROFT [top male GWP in field trials ever] twice qualified for the championships. Twice winner of the SHOOTING TIMES working test [now called the BETA gundog weekend] FTCh VELIA VON ANDESHEIM won the shooting times trophy for top Field Trial HPR and our second GWP FTCh, Bryantscroft Allspice. TOURNESOL TOUTOU of BRYANTSCROFT is now the first dual Brittany champion and also won the tower bird trophy for top Field Trial HPR under 3 years. We have bred 6 GWP Field Trial winners also 4 Field Trial award winning HPR. We also have continued my fathers line of well bred Labradors that he started in 1960 and we will start competing with them this year ,we have also added working chocolate labs to our kennel We have recently got an Irish setter pup watch this space! We often have well bred Labradors, German Wirehaired Pointer and spaniel puppies and trained dogs for sale. We are planning to have puppies from our Field Trial winning GWP and Brittany bitches and one of the Labradors in the spring 2007. All breeds of gundog are taken for training, we offer 1-2-1 training helping you to train your dog and also group classes can be booked. Facilities include rabbit pen, quail and pheasant for pointing and flushing in large covered pen, water and hundreds of acres of open land and woodland. |
